This policy explains what personal data Monstand Africa collects, why, how long it is kept, and what rights you have over it.

2. What we collect
Data you give us
- Website forms (contact, quote request, appointment): last name, first name, company, email address, telephone number, and the details of your project.
- Advertising forms on Facebook and Instagram: last name, first name, email address, telephone number, company name, trade show and stand surface area. These forms are hosted by Meta and the data is transmitted to us.
- Direct messages (WhatsApp, email, telephone): the content of your message and your contact details.
Data collected automatically
- Browsing data: IP address, pages viewed, date and time, device type, browser, referring source.
- Contact clicks: when you click a telephone, email or WhatsApp link, we record the click, its timestamp and the IP address, in order to measure which channels generate contact.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
- Answering your request and preparing a quote — pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
- Managing the commercial relationship and follow-up — legitimate interest of the company.
- Measuring website traffic and advertising performance — legitimate interest, or your consent where the applicable regulation requires it.
- Meeting our legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Cookies and tracking tools
Depending on the site configuration, the following tools may be used:
- Google Tag Manager — loads the tools listed below.
- Google Analytics 4 — audience measurement.
- Meta Pixel — measures the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — measures the performance of our LinkedIn advertising.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymous analysis of how pages are used.
You can block or delete these cookies at any time from your browser settings. Blocking them does not prevent you from using the site.
5. Who has access
Your data is accessible to Monstand Africa staff in charge of your request, and to the service providers that operate our tools: FastComet (hosting), Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft for measurement and advertising. Some of these providers process data outside Côte d'Ivoire, in particular in the European Union and the United States.
6. How long we keep it
- Prospect and quote data: 3 years from our last contact with you.
- Client data: for the duration of the relationship, then the applicable legal and accounting retention period.
- Server logs and contact clicks: 12 months.
- Measurement cookies: 13 months maximum.
7. Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, the restriction of its processing, or object to it. To do so, write to hello@monstand.africa. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications de Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI), the national data protection authority.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the administration area is restricted and password-protected. We take reasonable measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of this page indicates the version in force.
