Exhibition stands in Accra — built close to your market, run in English

We build close to your market: on the ground in Ghana when that's the right call, or from our Abidjan workshop when the project calls for it. Either way, Monstand Africa designs your stand, produces it through our local network in Ghana or our own workshop, and installs it on site with our own crews — running the entire project in English, from first brief to final dismantling. One partner, one accountable point of contact, a stand made for an Accra show floor.

Cocoa, gold, oil & gas, tech — an Accra show floor that's raising its game

Accra's events calendar tracks the sectors driving Ghana: cocoa and agribusiness, gold, oil & gas out of Tema and Takoradi, and one of the region's most energetic tech and startup scenes. Buyers here expect a stand that looks the part. From the Ghana International Trade Fair at the Trade Fair Centre in La to product launches and summits at the Accra International Conference Centre, we build to that standard — and brief, design, sign off and run it all in English with a team that knows the Accra venues.

Local production: our network on the ground in Ghana

You don't need to import a premium stand to get one in Accra. We have the local network in Ghana to manufacture and install in-country, so much of your stand can be produced and finished close to the show floor — shorter lead times, less in transit, and crews already in town for build and strike. When a project is better suited to our Abidjan workshop, that's simply one option among others: Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana share a single land frontier at Noé–Elubo, so the stand can travel the short cross-border road corridor instead of weeks of ocean freight. We choose the route that fits your stand, your timeline and your budget.

Run in English, with one partner from sketch to strike

The whole project is handled in English: your brief, the 3D renders you sign off on, the contract, and the team coordinating on the floor in Accra. Behind it sits a single point of contact who owns the job end to end — design, manufacture (in Ghana or in our workshop), transport, on-site build and dismantling. No agency in the middle, no language gap, no hand-offs.

The cedi, VAT and duty — set out plainly in the quote

Ghana is an ECOWAS member, but not part of the WAEMU monetary union, and the currency is the Ghana cedi (GHS). When your stand is produced locally in Ghana, most of the spend stays in-country; when it crosses from Côte d'Ivoire, a stand of Ivorian origin can move under the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme (ETLS) with duties reduced or waived — though never automatically: it depends on a certificate of origin and the rules of origin, which we handle. Ghana also applies its own VAT and levies (around 20%). We put the full cost picture in writing from the outset.

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly is my stand built — in Ghana or in Abidjan?

It depends on the project. We build close to your market: where it makes sense, we manufacture and install in-country through our local network in Ghana; where a project is better suited to it, we produce in our Abidjan workshop and bring the stand in. We recommend the option that gives you the best lead time, finish and cost, and tell you up front which one we're using.

Do you really have a production network in Ghana?

Yes. We have the local network in Ghana to manufacture and install in-country, plus our own install crews on the ground for build and strike. That keeps much of the work close to the Accra show floor — shorter timelines and less to go wrong in transit — rather than importing a finished stand from overseas.

Is the whole project handled in English?

Yes. From the first brief through the 3D renders, the contract and on-site coordination in Accra, everything is run in English by our team. It's the way we work with our Ghanaian clients, not a translation bolted on afterwards.

What about import duties and VAT if part of the stand comes from Côte d'Ivoire?

Both countries are ECOWAS members, so a stand of Ivorian origin can move under the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme (ETLS), with duties reduced or waived — not automatically: it depends on a certificate of origin and rules of origin, which we handle. Ghana also applies its own VAT and levies (around 20%), which we set out clearly in the quote. Ghana is in ECOWAS but not in the WAEMU/UEMOA monetary union. When we produce locally in Ghana, most of this simply doesn't arise.

Do you build at the Ghana Trade Fair Centre and the AICC?

Yes. We work to the regulations of Accra's main venues, including the Ghana Trade Fair Centre in La — home of the Ghana International Trade Fair — and the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
